Harriet Goodland (1835-1917): age 70, 1 song (‘Barley Mow’): Harriet was born on 23/10/1835 and then baptised on 14/2/1836 as Harriet Moncton, daughter of Thomas & Mary Moncton at the Mid-Lambrook Meeting House (Independents). Her father was an agricultural labourer. She was the 4th child and in 1851 census was aged 16, a glover; the family was still at mid-Lambrook.

In Oct 1864 she married George Pryor, agricultural labourer, at Barrington church. In 1871 they were still in Barrington, no children, Harriet was a kid glove maker. In 1881 she was a ‘buttonholer’. After George’s death in the 1880s, she married again to Benjamin Goodland (widower) Dec qr 1889. In 1891 census they were in Westport, he was 53 an agricultural labourer, she was 56. Benjamin died 19/10/1904 age 68. Harriet was an OAP age 76 in 1911. She probably died Dec qr 1917.
