William Barry at Marylebone workhouse: age 61, 1 sea shanty ‘Outward Bound’ FT1936 on 1 Oct 1908. Although Sharp wrote 'Barry', the Marylebone workhouse record of 1911 census has no 'Barry' but it does have a William 'Berry' on p32. It may not be the same man, of course. This inmate William Berry was aged 61, a widower, a former carpenter born in Marylebone. If Sharp's age record of 61 in 1908 was correct, then William should have moved on to be 63 or 64 in the census. All very tenuous:
