Charles Young of Puriton (1864-1937): age 40, 2 songs 'Geordie' and 'William Reilly' (FT1011/2) on 14 Aug 1906: Charles Young was baptised on 13/11/1864 at Puriton, son of William Young, labourer and his wife Jane. On 5/9/1895 at Enmore church he married Susan Loxston, daughter of Edward Loxston, a collier from Wales. They had 3 children. In 1901 Charles was a carrier (own account) at Puriton (RG13/2286 f18 p6). He died in March qr 1937 aged 72 (ref 5c 458).
