Charlotte Villis of Over Stowey (1856-1932): age 49, 1 song 'Jealousy' FT1399 on 12 Aug 1907: Charlotte Rich was baptised on 27/6/1856 at Over Stowey church, 4th child of Charles Rich, ‘broomer’ and his wife Anne. They lived at Castle Hill, Over Stowey. Charlotte's father died in 1865 and her mother was left to raise her 6 children.

Charlotte was married to John Villis, labourer, as registered April qr 1878 (5c 612). They had 9 children but 3 died young. The Villis family remained at Castle Hill through all the censuses. Charlotte died Jan qr 1932 aged 75 (5c 463).
