Jim Gray of Enmore (1853-1925): age 53, 2 songs ‘Just as the tide was flowing’ and ‘Barbara Ellen’ (FT900/01) on 17 Apr 1906: husband of Frances Gray (see her profile). He was baptised at Broomfield church on 27/3/1853, son of William Gray, labourer and wife Charity. In 1861 census he was a ploughboy aged 8 and worked as an agricultural labourer all his life.

He married Frances Mantle of Ash Priors on 12/6/1883. They had 11 children. He probably died Dec qr 1925 (Bridgwater 5c 357).
