Mrs Lizzie Selway of Westonzoyland (1866-1953): age 42, 1 song ‘The Blackbird’ FT1471 (click vwml link above) on 7 Sept 1907: Elizabeth was the older sister of singer Florence Chedgey.

She was born on 12/3/1866 and baptised at Weston Zoyland on 6/10/1867, daughter of Charles Stacey, bricklayer and his wife Maria. Lizzie married Richard Selway, 24 labourer at Weston Zoyland church on 17/1/1889. Neither could sign their name. They had 9 children and were living at Lakewall, Weston Zoyland in the 1901 census (RG13/2282 f53 p8). Lizzie died January qr 1953 aged 86 (7c 128).
