William Sparrow at Kemble, Glos (1834-1915): age 79, 3 songs on 7 Apr 1913: 3 miles SW of Cirencester: Kemble was originally part of Wiltshire but it was transferred to Glos.

William Sparrow was baptised on 6/7/1834 at Kemble, youngest child of Richard Sparrow, labourer and his wife Hannah. On 19/3/1863 at Kemble he married Ellen Hunt, daughter of Charles Hunt, labourer. He could not sign his name. They had 7 children. William was an agricultural labourer and spent his whole life in Kemble. He was buried there on 2/2/1915.
