Wilson Champ of East Harptree (1864-1921): age 41, 2 songs (FT495/6) on 12 Jan 1905: Wilson Champ was third son of Arthur Champ, a sawyer and his wife Elizabeth. He was baptised 18/1/1864 at Downton church, Wiltshire. He married Julia Small in 1887 and they had 3 children. In 1891 he was living in Wallace Lane, East Harptree but is not traceable in either 1901 or 1911 censuses for some reason. His wife Julia was in Middle St East Harptree in 1901 census with all 3 children.
Wilson Champ died October qr 1921 (Clutton 5c 550), aged 56.
