On 16/11/1863 at Curry Mallet church he married Elizabeth Ann Webber, 20, daughter of John Webber, a tailor. The couple moved back up to Blagdon in the 1871 where Thomas was listed as the publican at the Seymour Arms Inn. He was a baker again in 1881 and 1901 in Blagdon. He had no children and died on 27/7/1907, leaving £306 to his widow Elizabeth. She died in December 1922 in Taunton Hospital.
